課程概述 |

This course is intended to equip graduate students with fundamental writing skills regarding English essays. Topics to be covered include rhetorical patterns for English paragraph/essay development and an introduction to grammar functions. In-class writing exercises and take-home assignments will be given to familiarize students with English writing features such as paragraph/essay structures. Classroom activity is designed to enhance collaborative learning.
This course is taught in Chinese. |

課程目標 |
By the end of the course, students will achieve the following learning outcomes:
1. Understanding conventional structural patterns and rhetoric modes in English writing
2. Applying their knowledge of English grammar to their own writing
3. Demonstrating familiarities with vocabulary frequently used in academic writing
4. Identifying and editing their own sentence problems and conducting peer reviews
